Start the day

I try to start my day with art if I can. It’s a little luxury that makes all the other work I have to do for the rest of the day a little easier.

Here’s this morning’s little session as a step-by-step. There’s still a lot more doodling to do, but I’ve got to get to work!

Golden Soft Gel Medium (gloss)

Staples permanent glue tape

Acrylic paint – Liquitex Artist Color in Cadmium Red Medium and Liquitex Acrylic Color Basics in Medium Magenta(background), Martha Stuart craft paint in Granny Smith and Surf (sky)

Homemade glue gun “stencils”

Dylusions ink spray in Bubblegum Pink

Homemade ink sprays made with Dr. Ph. Martin’s Bombay India Ink in Aqua and Turquoise inks + water

Sharpie Water Based Paint Pens in black (extra fine point), white (extra fine point), and pink

Liquitex 15mm Professional Paint Markers in blue, green, and red
